This is a wonderful photograph, an important, exhibitable image. I love the negative/positive aspect of it; it reminds me of a Noguchi marble sculpture. Beautiful image!
Fascinating photo! Peaking into the keyhole, I see two people engrossed in what they are witnessing (unaware that they are being observed). Choosing this viewpoint is very clever because we can not see what they actually are witnessing and can only guess. However, the lack of color and detachment of the two people make it appear somber. This photo would be a great opening to a drama!
What a cool shot! They keyhole almost mimics the head and neck of the human shapes that stand just beyond the entrance. I like how the entrance is sharp but the people are a blur, lost in shadow. Well done as always!
I agree with Simone. What a cool shot! My first visual impression here was of Moorish architecture centuries ago. A keyhole-like opening appears in many buildings. But the feeling here is of mystery – what shadowy figures lurk beyond the opening? Well done, Ellen.
The mood is mysterious and intriguing. Shadowy figures behind sharply delineated keyhole. Are the dimensions distorted too? The keyhole looks big enough to be a doorway. The contrast of scale intensifies the mystery. Where do you take this?
This photograph makes me feel afraid. Feels like they’re waiting for me :/

Sorry Michelle. Thank you Thom.

What a dramatic photo! I love the angle and shape of the keyhole, and the mystery seen through it.
Behind closed doors…a peak inside. Story starter photo Ellen. Well done!

It is a doorway Bernice. This shot was taken in the Guggenheim!
Like the sepia tones and sense of mystery and foreboding.
Love this photo! It is fascinating, mysterious, and extremely artistic.
I always find myself attracted to your more abstract shots. This is genius.
