If I could play along, I would wish that those orange spikes could be placed atop the City Skyscrapers without antenas so they could look as stately as the Empire State Building!
I like the marching red cones, but I can’t for the life of me figure out your vantage point, even though I recognize some of the towers. Please enlighten me.
This shot is so cool! Required a second, closer look for me – I’m guessing the construction crew is dropping cones into place. But love this, because I heard “winter” and thought “oh, it must be snow!” It’s snowing cones – hallelujah 🙂 Great layering here of some really unexpected elements.
3 different visions in one photo! Looks like a peaceful snow ski course with the orange cones, and then the industrial area against the city scape is such a dichotomy of spaces.
Humorous shot – looks for all the world like either stop-action shot, or Martians landing… We love your sense of play and fun!

I’m not sure what I’m looking at here–very abstract and beautifully balanced. An intriguing shot!

Ellen, You obviously caught an invisible Cat In The Hat in a time lapse photography shot. Nice work !!!!
Looks like those cones are just suspended in the air. Reminds me of a Rene Magritte painting!
Michelle – I have a close-up shot of the cones that I titled “Homage to Magritte”!
What an unusual perspective. How did you catch this?
Bernice and Joann – this photograph was taken from near the new Kosciuszko Bridge in Brooklyn, looking back to Manhattan.

This is hard to read, making it surreal.
