It does look somehow like a colorful graveyard. Chopped down trees might be gravestones, but the colors and mood are too sunny and whimsical to suggest death.
I like the combination of still life and motion, of death and life. Everything is fixed except for the woman on the bicycle. The tree is alive, but the stumps are dead. A thought provoking photograph.
Great shot. I love the juxtaposition of the “grave markers” and old peeling paint, with the bright pink marker and the green of the tree. The girl bicycling through the scene draws your eye back through the photograph. Really good composition.

It’s sad and lonely. Evokes negative feelings in me, which makes it an effective photograph.
