On 9/11, this photo made me think of a stairway to heaven, a red flag of danger, and a lone survivor. Probably not at all what you were thinking, but you evoked a sad mood nevertheless.
Ironic Bernice, because I didn’t post the towers of light photo so as not to make everyone sad. I guess it’s hard to avoid at this time of year. There is a loneliness to the beach post-season. But on the plus side, there’s more room to sit and contemplate the waves!
The red flag of no swimming. Was this during the very toothless Hurricane Hermine? This summer certainly flew by……………!!
Ah, the lonely seagull now that the summer season has passed.I can feel the wind whipping that flag and pushing the waves. Good catch!

It didn’t look sad to me. I kind of think it looks like the seagull knocked the lifeguard bench over…
