These photos are all incredible! I specifically can’t get over the beauty of the sunflowers you captured – Sunflower and Marching Toward the Sun are my favorites. Thanks for all of this colorful joy. A fun and unique departure from iconic cities (I love ’em all).
The “Flowers of the Summer” seem more and more special as we are headed to the next season. I enjoyed your exhibition – especially the Waterlilies (nice Monet effect), and the large one of the Sunflower – so bright and cheerful! About the white flower above, I was wondering if there is a little beetle enjoying a sip of the dew drops in the center of the flower, or is that just a black center in the flower itself?
Thank you. Yes, that is a beetle nestled in among the petals!
Nature’s beauty.
What a splendid display of floral beauty! I love them all, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be triplets. Also, you’ve captured the rain drops on these – white flowers beautifully – so crystalline and pure!
Beautiful photos! As a brown-eyed girl, I especially like the Brown Eyes. And the Pinocchio flower brought a different image to mind–
Thanks! I’m a brown-eyed girl too so that’s why I named it that. I have no idea what its real name is. And I made up the Pinocchio name as well, as this is a PG blog 🙂
What a beautiful changing exhibition, Ellen (as well as your main blog flower photo)! Lotus Flower is my absolute favorite – so serene. I wish I could see Field of Dreams in a huge photograph spanning 20 feet or more. Such vibrant color. Thanks for capturing summer at its best!!!
Wow! I agree with Bruce. The lotus flower is gorgeous!!
It’s a lovely lady in a splendid ball gown!
Love that image Anne!
