I was on my way to do a spring shoot of the Central Park Bridge (which is my favorite winter shot, see Iconic New York, black and white, Central Park in the Snow, image 22/30) when I passed the fountain in front of the Plaza where I came upon this most unusual sight.
East meets West, love the juxtaposition.

Great photograph. I love the contrast between the two sculptures, both made of the same material, but so different in style and impact. Also that you chose to just show one of the animal heads, not the more traditional shot of the circle of animals.
