As I have said before, my favorite works of yours have an abstract quality to them. I love the challenge and surprise of determining what the reality of the shot is or just letting myself enjoy the abstract patterns as they are. This shot is so unique. Who knew people and stairs could be so intriguing.
What a cool shot!!!!! I love the silhouettes above from below and the movement and curve of bodies with the curve of the stair. So clever, as always.
This reminds me of the Reichstaig in Berlin. I love this unusual view.
Do we get a prize for knowing the location? Fifth Avenue Apple Store? Great shot!!
Yes Michelle, you get two gold stars 🙂
Love this image. To me, it has a ghostly quality. The people could be walking the stairs or just floating up there. Good eye, Ellen!
Wonderful! Reminds me of Schlemmer’s Bauhaus Staircase (only better!) The ghostly figures moving on the translucent steps could give me vertigo.
First glance, totally abstract. Second look, real people in a real place. Great image.
This is one of my favorites. So unusual and interesting!
