Your Paris exhibition is just incredibly gorgeous, and I can’t begin to choose a single photo that I like most – although the clock photos strike me each time. What a wonderful way to honor a wonderful city.

As for this picture, I LOVE it – especially from the “oy” angle 🙂 Fabulous.

I love this! It’s so funny! You have made it stand out beautifully!

  3. Cheryl says:

After all the heaviness of heart we’ve felt over the events in Paris, this lighthearted image is certainly welcome. So glad you featured the “OY” side.

  4. Bernice says:

Nice to have a chuckle after all the grim news. OY/YO is such a perfect NYC icon, representing 2 dominant cultures, and your photo captures the one closest to our Jewish souls!

  5. Bruce says:

It’s great to see Paris and remember what it is like when everyday life goes on there. You have some beautiful photographs capturing the heart of Paris. As for “Yo/Oy,” how did they find a sculpture almost as tall as 1 WTC? Great shot!

Your pictures of Paris are breathtaking. Your photographs are awe inspiring! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing again your beautiful pictures of Paris in the midst of all the upheaval that is going on there! Leave it to Brooklyn to display, in art form, the most perfectly descriptive two letter word (reversible yet)! It says it all!

  8. Thom says:

This has such an amazing Pop-art feel, like Lichtenstein or Robert Indiana. It’s also a very clever photo, because by manipulating the proportion you suggest the mammoth size of these letters – I believe they are actually only about 8′ tall! They look 30′!

I once knew a little boy whose first name was Yo (oy vay!). I bet he’d love to see his name in huge yellow letters! Great shot!
