C’est magnifique! Loved all the photos, especially the one with the lamppost and the Eiffel tower, which looked like a chess game to me. Also the man in front of the clock, and the bride and groom in black and white and gray. Enjoy the memories!
Love the Paris shots. My favorites are
Under the Bridge, Going Up, Le Carousel, and Versailles God. Wow! fantastic!
Too many beautiful shots to have a favorite. Although I do love the Clock Silhouette at the D’Orsay and Pont Alexandre III. Tres magnifique!!
I cannot look at these Paris shots enough, and picking my favorites is impossible. Your Eiffel Tower shots are incredible, I am obsessed with the lit-up ones and the close, detail shots especially, but I love the graffiti shot too – the juxtaposition between the different “sides” of a city like Paris. I also love the clock shots, especially the silhouette photo. I love the umbrellas and the people in the rain. The Awning shot might be one of my favorites, though – I love the abstractness and the black and white, as well as the pairing of what feels like old and new. An incredible job – I feel like I went to Paris too.
The Paris pix are wow!!
What a wonderful selection of Paris photos!! Great angles of perspective; especially around the Eiffel Tower and the Clock. (I loved the “Wild Flowers” under the tower!) Also, lovely selection of architecture, museum and people. I thoroughly enjoyed the Paris trip through your lens!! Merci beaucoup!!
This photo of the Eiffel Tower has a dramatic composition. The Paris series is the best one I’ve ever seen and my favorite of any series you have done. My fav may be the black and white of the D’Orsay clock. Felicitations!
The colors in this shot are amazing- the structure is really demanding our attention!
I love all of these photos- I agree that it feels as if I was there with you! I especially love “Golden Clock” and “From the Top of the Arc”. The former has a very strong composition as it is, but the title adds a bit of humor, considering the photo is black and white. It draws me in and gets my imagination working!
I enjoyed seeing this magnificent view of the iconic Eiffel Tower. You’ve captured it in a very original way; it looks like it’s made of gold. The evening sky, warm golden light of the tower, and the foliage contrast the dramatic angle of the tower reaching up and away.
J’aime bien les photos de Paris! They were very evocative of the city. Thank you for sharing them. Especially loved the candid wedding photo. Suddenly I have an urge for a glass of wine and some cheese.
What glorious light and color!
Awesome photos of a magical city. I am partial to the shots of the d’Orsay clock. There is something very psychological about the one with the man in it that I found very profound.
Brava! It feels like we are there with you! There’s something very Courbet-like about the rainy shots – love ’em! And the Eiffel Tower is amazingly well caught, in the wonderful dusky light.
Ellen, you have captured Paris from every personal and iconic perspective! How do I choose a favorite? If I must, I’ll take “Station!” Well done!
Such captivating photography! I love looking at your work!!
