I really appreciate the way so many of your images jostle predictable perspectives and perception – you are very adept at reflections, at differing viewpoints, at surprising the viewer with an unexpected viewpoint. Nicely done!
I just love this photo – not just artistically (love seeing the road behind you and the foliage ahead in the same image), but symbolically. Sometimes we need to look behind us to remember why and how we’re moving forward along life’s road in a certain direction. Love your unique perspective on all of it always!
Although I am still perplexed about the viewpoint – what’s real and what’s reflected, I can appreciate the contrast of the fall colors in the background and the dark shapes in the foreground, all connected by the light grey of the road.
What a fascinating perspective, Ellen!I love the colors. If I were to “read” into this photograph, I would say that the past in the rear view mirror is clear and the present and future around us and ahead is blurred and unkown. Well done!
Looks like a crisp Autumn Day! Beautiful!

Beautiful foliage if not a bit eerie darkness fitting for Halloween
Beautiful fall scene interestingly clearer in the reflection than in the actual view!

The curve framing the road took my breath away
I’ve never seen a pic like this. I’m trying to figure out what the curved object is. Lots of variety. Beautiful day.
