A perfect shot – love the silhouetted skyline and the colors of the clouds, as well as the layers of color in the sky. Are those boats too?! Excellent composition.
Ellen, I don’t know how you always manage to get the perfect shot! The boaters (canoes? kayaks?) are dwarfed by the vastness of sunset river, sky and skyscrapers, but they appear serene in their pink and blue world.

Just realized that I missed one of your wonderful photographs and wanted to tell you how much I like this one.You have captured yet another great silhouette of Manhattan (love the pink clouds), and catching the two canoes in the image adds a great contrast to the metropolis beyond. Well done!
