What a great choice on this dull, dreary day! I love that the usual landscapey-arrangement is stretched heavenward so the landscape is barely noticed; the sky, clouds and sun take prominence. Beautiful choice!
Love the sun’s rays streaming off in all directions and the amazing clouds. The dark silhouetted skyline adds a perfect counter point to the colorful sky above. Well done, Ellen!
Could be the Star of Bethlehem shining bright, with the Holy Dove descending on the colorful sunspots! That’s how spiritual a mood this photo evokes. The crossed diagonals of the clouds and sunspots add to the magic, and swallow up the tiny silhouetted city below.
I’ve said it before, but this is the most absolutely perfect photo. I wish I could live in it! I love how you captured the silhouette of the buildings, the layers of clouds, and the lines beaming from the sun. Absolutely gorgeous.

Brooklyn looks like a miniature village with the Willy B creating a tiny center of interest in this wonderful silhouette.
