What an interesting shot! My first thought was – loose feathers or bird? Love the textures and the abstract nature of this photo. Well done!

  2. Jacqueline says:

I had the same thought–sad (but poignant) if the feathers are all that is left.

    Framing is everything! Well done.

There’s something very melancholy about this image, but I think that adds to its simple beauty. There’s a story we don’t quite know and it’s left to the imagination to figure it out. Very painterly, as well- I love the textures in the muted tones. Great one, Ellen!

The principles of design are so well illustrated here, but the photo makes me feel unhappy.

  6. Bernice says:

Beautifully composed forms, colors and textures, and graceful as a plie in ballet. I’m just not sure if the wings are dead or alive.

Mysterious, beauty in nature artfully caught in the photo
