This exhibition deserves it’s own showing! You captured the magnitude of this icy winter, Ellen. ‘Have a Seat’ and ‘Icicles’ are my favorites.
Great shot of our times “Fifty Shades of White!”
FABULOUS shots, Ellen! I especially liked Have a Seat and Camouflaged. This is a gorgeous photo too – the layers of the ice, rocks, bridge, and skyline – perfection.
This made me think of Scuffy the Tugboat! The whole series is wonderful.
Mother nature at her most awesome. Wonderful shot capturing it’s beauty.
Once again you’ve captured an icon of NY. The soft blue silhouettes of the buildings against the frozen sky, contrasted with the strong horizontals of the bridge and the jagged lines of the icy rocks make me chilly! I hardly even noticed the little tug. Winter 2015 – grey, blue & white.
Just looked at the changing exhibition, and as much as I’m hating winter, I love all your photos. They truly express the cold crisp air and icy temps, while revealing the beauty of the scenery.
Once again, I think this would be a good stage scrim. I love the winter series, especially “Have a Seat.” I think I’ll be OK with the arrival of spring!
Another great shot by Ellen! I never would have thought these ice flows were in NY/NJ. I love the way you captured so many iconic buildings and the viewpoint from under the bridge.
My favorites in the changing exhibition are old glory, and the city beyond. That big old tree standing against the elements really speaks to me.
Great new exhibition, Ellen! Loved “Have a Seat” best, and “Little Red Lighthouse” right behind! “Tug” has such an nice, soft feeling to it. Well done, across the board!
It HAS been quite a winter. Great shots of those ice flows. These images really capture how I’ve been feeling the last couple months, particularly “Icicles”. I feel like I’m encased in ice, too!
As always, you did a great job capturing the mood of the city, Ellen. Hopefully we’ll be seeing some more color, with spring around the corner!
