Wow, this is an awesome photo! Almost looks like a Renaissance halo around an angel. Also loving the gritty, structural city elements next to it. Why do I feel like we’re on Mars?
What an amazing catch, Ellen! The morning sky color, Manhattan building profiles and perfectly round Hunter’s Moon all work together to create this memorable photo. Well done!
The early morning moon, bright and perfectly round caused the other objects in the foreground to photograph in silhouette, creating a beautiful geometic abstract. Kudos for a awesome, creative, artistic photo!
Thank you for pivoting and posting this amazing image! I’ve never seen the moon look like that in the morning (then again, I’m not often up at 7:13 am!).
“Hi up there.
We are looking for something big and round and like us too”
“Oh wow!! That will do!”
I didn’t know there was a satellite dish on the moon. Great photo!!!
