I usually wait to respond until later in the day, Ellen, but this beautifully vibrant photo has called to me! Clearly an amazing, crisp and personal view of this flower is presented here, but I have to share another perspective. My first impression was that this was an overhead photo of a black-haired flamenco dancer spinning her colorful dress for us. Whatever one’s interpretation, well done!
I love the striking red of the Anemone flower against the white of its ring and the deep blue purple of its center. The flower is so delicate looking the petals almost look like tissue paper.
Claude Monet was right.
A flower is our friend,
And certainly not “An enemy”

Wow, Bruce, I never would have seen this. But now that you mention it…
Beautiful! This is giving off Georgia O’Keeffe energy and I love it.

This exquisite photo is, as Simone says, reminiscent of a Georgia O’Keeffe painting. It’s perfect!
I love the intricate details, so sharp and crisp.
