Rich with drama and substance – makes me think of the opening of a 30’s crime noir movie. Would love to see it as an entire wall or mural.

  2. Simone says:

Beautiful, especially at night with the lights and shadows. And framed perfectly with the wooden posts.

  3. Bruce says:

You have once again managed to “paint” an image with your camera, Ellen! I agree with Tom – there is drama in this view of the bridge, and it has everything – brilliantly lit elements, shimmering reflections and a two-bridge perspective. Well done!

  4. Carolyn says:

Stunning view of the Brooklyn Bridge at night with its reflections in the East River. The black sky and dark water enhance the beauty of the bridge that is lit up in all its splendor. A great capture by a great photo artist.

  5. Jacqueline says:

The Wonderful perspective in this image allows us to see the entire span of the bridge, with twinkling lights and golden reflections–beautiful!

Thanks Jacqueline. Because the files are reduced for the website, what you can barely make out is the Manhattan Bridge behind the Brooklyn Bridge and the light reflecting on the suspension cables forming their own linear pattern. In person it is even more shimmery!

    Soft pastels
    with muted light
    Who’d expect such beauty
In the middle of the night?

  8. Carole says:

Magical glow and illumination of my favorite bridge. The reflection on the water adds to the composition. You captured its majesty!

  9. Eileen says:

I love the way you caught the light and darkness and how they reflect in the water.

  10. Jan says:

    Stunning Image
