I love black and white photographs. This sculpture is so interesting but I couldn’t determine if it was actually art or left over construction material. Either way it makes for a wonderful photo. Being photographed in black and white defines the sculpture’s shapes and the shadows that are formed from the shapes adds to the beauty.
Thanks Carolyn. Yes this is a sculpture on one of the outdoor galleries at the Whitney Museum. I paired it with the water tower as juxtaposing city artworks.
Such an interesting photo, especially in black and white! Love the shapes, shadows, and silhouettes. Well done!
What a cool image, Ellen! I love the black and white contrasts, metallic feel and the edgy feeling of art living in the city. Well done!
Very interesting image where art meets industry!
