Love this black and white photo and all the shapes and shadowing.
Timeless and beautiful! Love the way he’s looking out, almost longingly.
…And no one can talk to a horse, of course
That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Ed.
Love horses. Love this photo. I know I always say this but you have an uncanny way of finding interesting photos to take. Whevever did you find this stable with a horse?
Thanks Carolyn. Although this guy didn’t talk, he did absolutely pose for me. And I must say, after more than a dozen years as a photographer, it’s getting harder and harder to find new and interesting subjects for the blog. This photo was taken at a historic site and farm in northeastern Pennsylvania.
What an up close and personal photo, Ellen! It feels like we are standing in the stable with you, and the black and white format is the perfect presentation. Well done!
I love the timelessness of this image and the horse’s pensive expression. Glad he (she?) has plenty of hay to keep it warm!
