Adorable photograph of the child and birds at the beach. I can almost feel how she is about to take off running toward the seagulls and they in turn take flight.
Not only was she adorable, she was fearless. As the seagulls were swirling all around her, she stood her ground and watched them, while the adults backed away!
This reminds me of a b/w Diane Arbus photo – I can just imagine watching the little girl toddling over to play with the captivating seagulls!
“Here Birdie Birdie”
Can we play today?
If I dance around you
Promise not to fly away
Oh, this is such a lovely photo! She reminds me of the birds with her little arms out, almost in silhouette. Beautiful!
What a sweet photo, Ellen! You have captured the innocence and curiosity of a little girl as she interacts with nature. Well done!

So lovely to see a child learning about the world!
