Hummingbirds are – along with dragon flies – marvels of nature. How they can fly and move as they do are truly wonders to behold. Nicely captured – literally!

  2. Carolyn says:

An amazing photo! I don’t know how you were able to capture a Hummingbird in motion even with a great camera. Being able to detect and catch them in flight is not always possible.

  3. Bevy says:

If sweet nectar were offered to me
    I would find it absurd
    To chirp or cluck
    I would only consider humming
    Like a hummingbird!

  4. Bruce says:

This is a really special photograph, Ellen! Capturing this super fast bird in mid-flight must have been quite a challenge, and your steady hand allows us to appreciate the colors and delicate structure – wings spread, claws curled in and ready to feast. Well done!

  5. Carole says:

What a perfect capture of this tiny beauty in nature! Thank you for dedicating it to us.

  6. Jan says:

Thank you for presenting us with this amazing gift. Your ability to capture this beautiful creature with perfect clarity does not go unnoticed!

  7. Simone says:

Wow, what an amazing shot! And so cool you were able to capture that fraction of a second in time.

  8. Jacqueline says:

“The hummingbird is a symbol for accomplishing that which seems impossible. It will teach you how to find the miracle of joyful living from your own life circumstances.” Ted Andrews
And it’s impossible how you caught this amazing image!

  9. ellen says:

How appropriate Jacqueline, because the photograph itself is my accomplishment of that which seems impossible!
