That’s a lot of dandelions! Love the mixture of vertical and horizontal focal points in this photo, as well as the powdery blue sky with wispy clouds.

The hills are alive, with the sound of music! Beautiful pastoral image.

So worth you getting down to take this one. Just beautiful!

What a beautiful, scenic, relaxing view. I could look at this view all day. It is amazing how you find such wonderful places to photograph. The dandelions go to seed quickly. Those of us who own/owned a house are annoyed at seeing them especially when they go to seed; but in this photograph they add to photographic beauty. Kudos to you for another wonderful photo!

What a great photograph, Ellen! I love the layers of meadows and tree lines, with the mountains rising up in the distance. Well done!

    Ah, I am sighin’
    Just to be lyin’
    In this beautiful field
    Of dandelions!

Love the poem Bevy. That’s exactly what I was doing – lying prone in the grass to get this shot! What we do for our art 😉

Love the perspective! Now I know how my little dog sees the world–a jungle of grass and tall stems and flowers. I happen to love dandelions–the intense yellow of the flowers, the fun of blowing the seeds. Thanks for bringing up happy memories.

LOVE the angle of this photo! You clearly got down into the grass to capture this. And so beautiful and relaxing.
