Five months after Sandy, and so many northern NJ beaches are still unaccessible. At least we can get to the beach at Ocean Grove and walk on it. Grateful for small favors.

Love the shimmering water, Ellen. The bare dock tells the story of the storm, though. Perfect in black and white.
You are the queen of geometry. The strong contrast between the black lines of the dock and the shimmery sparkles of the water are wonderful. And the fisherman with his pole remind me of Homer.
Sitting on “Pi”, Life goes on forever……Sandy not withstanding!
Wow, I saw the geometry, thank you Bernice, but I didn’t see “Pi” until now. Says the artist to the accountant!
Cool 🙂
Beautiful and simple, what the shore is about!
So cool only around one month from Pi Day. Beautiful, glistening, and peaceful!
Didn’t know there was such a thing as Pi Day. I looked it up – March 14th. Sorry I’m late, but happy Pi Day everyone 🙂
The contrasts are bold and interesting. Another Ellen extraordinary beach shot.
I love how many of your works have an abstract feel to them. You take the ordinary and make the viewer see it in a whole new way.
