How incredibly dreamy! I love the striations of color, all so similar but completely different. It’s the sort of view we all think must be enjoyed every evening in the Tropics, on a remote island, with a fruit drink in hand.
You have captured an image so rich in color, Ellen. And to have the boat trailing across the reflective ocean water in this amazing spectacle of nature adds a horizontal element of motion to the incoming waves. Well done!
Wow, the colors in this hood of clouds are spectacular. What a wonderful way for the people in this little boat to start the day, in the sun’s golden glow.
The one and only thing I like about daylight savings time is that I can be up in time to catch the sunrise. This photo was taken at 6:40 am on the first Sunday of the time change.
Beatiful photograph of of a beautiful sunrise. The layers of oranges and reds all reflecting in the water take your breath away.
The solitary boat in the photo reminds me of Santiago, early mornibg, hoping for a great catch. The photo speaks volumes.
So many stunning sunrises
sadly, go unnoticed.
But this beauty is certainly not missed
As, in its glory, there is afloat,
A very lucky boat!

Morning has broken, like the first morning

Gorgeous composition of horizontals punctuated by sun and boat.
This photo seems so simple but the layers of color are so beautiful and complex. You must have been up pretty early!

WOW, is this a stunner!!!!!! The layers of the sunset made me gasp and I can’t believe you caught that boat in just the right spot. Amazing.
Lovely – I feel so at peace now
