Great image – b/w is perfect here. Amazing full moon.

I love the exposure of this photo. It plays tricks on my mind’s eye, where I can almost see the outline of the entire building. Very captivating.

  3. Simone says:

Wow!!!! This is so simple but so beautiful! I’m guessing a building is cutting through the full moon? For a second, I thought this was the actual shape the moon presented! What a great image.

  4. Lisa says:

Wow that moon looks very cool and eerie! Good shot

  5. Emily says:

There’s something to be said about beauty that can be found in the simplicity of color and shapes here.

    Graphic and stunning

“It’s the moon that moves me. The sunlight makes everything so obvious.” — Bavo Dhooge. Thank you for a very moving–and unusual–image!

  8. Bruce says:

What a fascinating photo of the moon, Ellen! It can be seen as a pure graphic representation in black and white, or the reality of the corner of a building masking a portion of the moon. This one (like many of your photos) is so well done!!

  9. Carolyn says:

The abstract look of this almost black and white phtotgrah is exquisite. Certainly worthy of a museum of art piece.

    So perfectly round
    So perfectly full
Every quadrant is perfectly the same.
No wonder it is a perfect backdrop
    To whatever it would frame!
