Very nicely balanced – a clever counterpoint of silhouette and color. Looks like Paris!

To the concept that Liberty and Justice is blind,
How appropo that Lady Liberty, to be true
    Is protecting silhouettes
    Unfettered by full view.

I love the clarity and contrasts of this photo. The people are in such close proximity, yet so separate–a comment on modern life?

  4. Carolyn says:

Very interesting photo. I love the composition of the people in silhouette in the foreground With the street light illuminated between them and the Statue of Liberty secondary in the background. It almost seems as though there should be a story to go with it.

So many great elements in this photograph, Ellen! They come together in harmony, creating an intimate image under an umbrella of tree branches and soft, subtle lighting. Well done!

Oh, I love this photo! The silhouettes and their stories and the way the streetlight, the Statue of Liberty, and the tree frame them. Beautiful!
