What an amazing photo, with both lighthouse and head looking up towards the heavens! Where was it taken?

Oh my gosh!!! This is so surreal and interesting! Would love to know what we’re looking at – and are they really side-by-side in the wild? Such a cool photo, well done!

This was taken on the north end of Roosevelt Island where there is an exhibition on view near the Lighthouse. The sculpture is real, the perspective is entirely my own.

What a striking photograph, Ellen! Your perspective really sets up this visual feast. I especially like the title reference. I bet most of your blog followers will miss it, but it made me laugh out loud! Well done!

The photo you took is very interesting and dramatic.
I searched and found it is a monument honoring Nellie Bly as part of the Girl Puzzle located on Roosevelt Island.
You do find wonderful places and things to photograph.
