What a cool photo, Ellen! I love the camouflage this deer has here. How did you get the deer to pose and look straight into your camera? :o) Well done!
What a beautiful shot and excellent capture! Love the contrasting textures of the landscape behind the deer – and amazing you were able to catch the deer posing for you! Just lovely.

I’m getting this camouflage thing going
I know I can’t be seen
If only I could
Make my legs turn green!!
What a lovely example of nature at its best! Such camouflage, and a clever capture for you.
I saw the other headline from last week and was trying to figure out where under the bridge this was 🙂
Beautiful photo, what comes to mind when I look at it is, does my butt look big in this photo?
Emily, I was standing under the FDR drive beneath the Manhattan Bridge taking a picture through to Brooklyn.
Jan, haha! Love it!
Wow! Can’t believe you captured such a beautiful photo in New York City. It looks like it belongs in National Geographic.
Thanks Carolyn. This shot was actually taken in New Jersey. New Jersey gets a bum rap as far as I’m concerned. There are so many beautiful places.
