Hey, I was there Friday, but didn’t see your hidden camera. Nice view of this weird and wacky installation.
How surreal, Ellen! What is interesting is how casual everyone is – sitting around, checking out the view, cell phones eveywhere, while giant Columbus watches over them all. This photograph requires looking beyond the big guy in the middle. It’s about people as much as it is about the installation.
This is really cool! What a unique and special way to view the statue. Must have felt very strange being up there. I’m sorry I missed this, I think it just closed – thanks for the peek inside!
wow! how did you get in?
I was able to get a ticket last minute. Worth the seven flights of stairs, if not to see Columbus up close, then certainly to see his view of Central Park!
Strong and powerful, such an interesting juxtaposition. Nice shot!
