What an awesome photograph, Ellen! I love the juxtaposition of the rippled reflections with the delicate colored leaves. Well done!
Leaves etched on rippled glass. The light reflected on the water brings it all together. Such a lovely shot, Ellen. Good eye.
It feels like such a sad, end-of-the-season image, with a few bedraggled leaves left, and rippling water looking so cold it could almost be ice. Beautifully done.
Oh, is this beautiful! The reflections of the tree trunks in the water overlaid with the branches and colorful leaves makes for such a gorgeous composition. Love this one. Well done!
The last leaves of Autumn
The final stragglers who just don’t want to let go
Justifying their lengthy tenure
By adding to their palette – extra glow.
This photo is so crisp and clear. I love the reflection of the trees in the water and the branches reaching out with its colorful Autumn leaves hanging on til the bitter end!
This beautiful photo reminds me of O. Henry’s short story about hope and sacrifice, “The Last Leaf.”
Spectacular focus and framing. So evocative of autumn.
