WOW, what a stunning shot! And just where I wish I could transport to today. The texture of the mountain reminds me something Seurat might have painted and I love the way the stream leads the eye to the bridge, the red tree, and beyond! Thanks for sharing.
Another beautiful, serene photograph, Ellen! I can almost hear the water rushing over the rocks. Well done!
Stunning and calming. I can feel the crisp Vermont air and hear the babbling brook. Well done Ellen.
Peaceful, and lovely, mountain, water and tree
It’s the perfect place to be!
You got all of the components in this one: the river, the mountain, a bridge, and the early Autumn changing leaves. Thank you for the trip to Vermont!
What a fine, tranquil image – I wish I were there! It almost looks like an Eric Carle collage.
It definitely has the layering and his bright colors. I didn’t make them though, but I did capture them!
I especially love the color of the water–it’s a perfect fall photo!
Love all the curves and the one straight line of the bridge.

Yes, there’s a definite post-Impressionist feel to the trees on the mountain. Either that or a box of Trix!
