What an interesting photograph, Ellen! The red draws us outside while the geometric shapes keep us inside. Well done!

I love the tensions in this photo: freedom vs confinement, circle vs square, light vs dark, yin and yang. Fascinating!

A red Japanese(?) gate seen through a square opening to a walkway, and a round, grilled moon window. Lovely and serene.

The duality of this image reminds me of the clock image you posted last year – wonderful, thought-provoking picture.

Thanks Thom. I thought of “Behind the Clock” when I saw this photo in front of me. A diptych without actually being one!

It’s all about framing! Well done

What an amazing photo! I love the colorful views from these very different windows. It’s almost like a diptych in nature, and I agree with Thom about the Behind the Clock photo. As always, beautifully done.
