Powerful, jaw dropping view capturing the thousands participating and the surrounding architecture. Great photo. Unsettling times

  2. Bruce says:

It looks like the NYC marathon but has so much more meaning as a peaceful protest.

What a magnificent shot. I love the way you have the buildings lined up at that angle, and the shadows. You should submit this to your favorite Newspaper/Magazine!Even if we don’t get along, can’t we coexist in a civilized manner?

    Beautiful

  7. Sheila says:

Amazing!!! But scary that there is no social distancing.

  8. Bernice says:

Your perspective on these NYC buildings is especially dramatic and colorful. But the teeming crowds below are unique to these days of upset and protest. I hope they were peaceful, at least.

You captured humanity, but I doubt it will stop social injustice. Sad time for us all in the U.S.A.

What a contrast with the empty streets of the lockdown. I hope America can finally get its act together and actually do something about racism in this country. Unfortunately, I’m not very optimistic. Thank you for this important and expertly framed shot. It shows that photography has an essential function in our society, i.e., holding up a mirror to the best and worst of America so we can encourage the former and eliminate the latter.

Truly Cheryl. I took the same photo after the curfew went into effect at 8 pm and the contrast was incredibly stark.

Hordes of people marching for justice – still marching for justice 25 years after Rodney King and countless others. Maybe this time something will change. It HAS to or we are doomed. You captured this beautifully.
