Beautiful symmetric composition. The parallel lines of color look like color blocking in fabric, punctuated by the crisp white triangle of the sailboat.
Your layering of the photo into 4 bands of color flattens the space and creates beautiful textures and colors. And the white sailboat near the horizon is perfectly centered.
My painting teacher would call this iconic because of the placement of the boat in the center. The bands of color are great. I am wondering how you got the dark blue/black band.
Beautifully done serene photo. Just looking at it relaxes me. The colors are magnificent.
I love the bands of color, the striations. If it weren’t for the sailboat, the textures would make me think it was a close-up of a butterfly wing!
When the wind changes direction, we must adjust our sails. Beautiful shot!
How very true Carole!
A banner day
To sail away……
A beautiful composition!
As beautifully pictured, may we all have bright skies and clear water ahead
Such a rich composition and dreamy photograph, Ellen. Makes me want to be on that sailboat right now! Well done!
The most perfect sailboat shot! I love the horizontal layers of sand, water, and sky. Well done!
