This one made me smile, Ellen! A perfect photographic capture of art and observer interacting silently. Wonder what he was thinking! I am thinking “Well done!”
This is such a clever shot! I keep thinking the man is actually a piece of art himself – I had to look twice to make sure he wasn’t a statue – and I love how the art looks like it has its own hat. Just fantastic.
I love photographing people looking at art. I often see parallels between the two. Here the round circle at the top of the art, perhaps it’s head, is echoed by the observer’s hat. And the colors of both are in the same family. And of course my constant observation that people spend more time reading the labels than looking at the art!
Another one of your quixotic juxtapositions, point and counterpoint!
Very fun.
A unique vision–love the hat!
Love this one!!!

Fun foto! A modern day “Thinker”. He’s puzzled by art, that’s clear! Love the cowboy(?) hat and the juxtaposition of figure and art.
