As an amateur astronomer, I see an exploding super nova, its multiple rings of gas moving outward into space as pieces of the star stream out in all directions! Of course, I choose to ignore the figure at the railing since no one can survive in space without a spacesuit 🙂 Great shot, Ellen!

Looks like a diamond ring shooting out brilliant rays in all directions! What an eye you have, Ellen!

I like it because I can’t really tell what it is without the explanation and it makes me think–about abstract painting among other things!

    Dizzying! Great shot.

You had to see me contorted, practically lying on the floor to get that shot. Talk about dizzying! Glad it was worth it 🙂

  9. Simone says:

Wow, an extremely unique shot. I love this because you had to think outside the box to get it, and it is beautifully abstract.

This is absolutely amazing. I think this is one of my favorites out of all of your work. It is dazzling, it is surprising, it is like gold and diamonds. I feel a real rush looking at it. When I first saw it, I thought of an eye; now I see it as a reflection of your splendid eye for drama.
