Ah, this is fabulous! Reminds me of your Giverny shots – except the reflection is an iconic New York City building and the water lilies are leaves! Love it. Well done.

  2. Bruce says:

I like the color in this reflection photo, but it is the floating, colorful leaves that tell us fall has arrived. Well done, as always, Ellen!

  3. Anne says:

Nobody photographs reflections like you do! They are always superb and this is the same high quality as your others.

Thanks Anne! I’m always on the lookout for a good reflection

This photo makes the Flatiron look like it’s in a pastoral setting beside a lake and surrounded by greenery. The reflections shimmering in the water against the blue of the sky, are beautiful.

I literally turned my iPad upside down and the leaves appeared to be floating gently down to a green bed of grass. Great job in producing a photo that works just as well upside down as right side up!

  7. Thom says:

I love anything to do with the Flatiron Building, and this one is great. Love the less-than-perfect reflection, but the clarity, at the same time.

  8. Michelle says:

The water is so crystal clear, that at first I was wondering why you posted an upside down picture of the flatiron building! Great shot!!
