It certainly looks like you have mastered Adams’ zone photography philosophy! Lovely tones and textures; a stunning image, one that could stand up next to any of Adams’ work.
These are incredible photos! I can’t pick a favorite, but Snow Capped Mountains and Archway are up there – as is this stunning Ansel Adams style shot. I love seeing the natural world through your lens as much as the cities you shoot!
Stunning! Very dramatic.
A wonderful values study, rarely seen in pics of Yosemite, where I am pretty sure, God created the universe!
Awesome photograph, Ellen. Definitely in the style of Ansel Adams and quite a fitting tribute. Well done.
Spectacular view of Yosemite.
Powerful photo. “Ask yourself: “Does this subject move me to feel, think and dream?” – quote by Ansel Adams

Truly beautiful gradation of velvety blacks and grays, in addition to the spacial recession of the mountain tops. Ansel Adams would have been proud!
My two favorite photographers represented in one photo. Sometimes black and white is the only way to go.
