I like the layers of sand, Victorian houses and sky, Ellen – very peaceful. There is also a parallel to the houses being in the distance and being a part of the distant past. Well done!
What I liked about this photograph is the fact that the subject matter, the houses, become almost a line in a image that is now about horizontal planes.
Each home a gracious fortress to natures’ wonderland. Lovely photo!
This distant view looks very lonely and empty, maybe due to the simple layering of sand and sky.

Beautiful and classic shot! I love that the horizon line splits the sand and sky with these timeless houses. As always, you have a great eye.
The houses don’t seem so imposing compared to the vastness of the sky and sand. Nice!
So magnificent and yet so isolated. I like the juxtaposition.
