What a “wicked” photo, Ellen! How do you find these things? I love that you share your photographic journeys with us. Keep following your yellow brick road!
You have such a fun, keen eye! I love the things that you manage to capture in this city. Also enjoy your use of lines here – the vertical parallels of the boots, wooden planks, and even tree branches and trunks. Well done!
Just got my internet back! Hooray!
Love those pointy slippers echoed by the planks and the bare tree trunks. A giant elf flew onto the High Line, and then left and forgot his slippers?

Is that where the wicked witch parks her shoes? The High Line???
No fear, she melted! Great, imaginative shot Ellen!
“And your little dog, too!” Great composition–if it was a book cover I would definitely want to read the book!
Cool shot. Looks like the Wicked Witch landed there!

So glad your internet is back Bernice. Yes, that must be exactly what happened!
This is an interesting, almost-monochromatic photo with a touch of salmon color in the background. Are the shoes a sculpture? Hmmmm……
