What a wonderful collection! I just love them, especially how you play with perception (Beach Gazing) and shadows (Gull Shadow). Some really great seagull shots in general, too, like this one (great angles). My favorite hands-down, though, is Shore Clouds. So clear that you love the beach. Well done!
What a wonderful array of photos. I love them all but especially the baby in the gingham hat, who is all covered with sand, the sparkling “crashing Sea”, and of course the “Beach Fisherpeople”! The seagull floating on updrafts against the blue sky is a shot that evokes that summertime feeling at the shore!
This and the changing exhibition are fantastic- there’s some real gold in here. A few of those that stood out to me were, “Moonrise Over the Beach” because of its fantastic, hazy colors, “Ghost Ship on the Ocean” for its subtlety, and “Beach Take Off”- what a great action shot! The textures in the waves crashing against the sand is simply beautiful and that, combined with the flight of the gull, make this particular photo feel like it’s in motion.

The gull is so graceful in your lovely composition. It’s superbly placed against the perfect blue sky in the lower right corner.
Such a great collection of beach photographs, Ellen! I don’t think that I can even pick a favorite. Each one is unique and shows your amazing ability to capture life in motion. Moonrise Over the Beach, Beach Baby and Sparkling Seas do jump out to me, though. Well, well done!
