Georgeous photo of irises. I can truly understand why it’s your favorite spring flower. They are beautiful. The clarity of this photo is amazing. Makes me feel as though I am seeing them in person.
I’ve been enamored of irises since seeing Monet and Van Gogh’s paintings of them when I was a student. The fact that irises bloom in front of my house every spring is truly a yearly gift!
Yes, I see the funny face! A bit of trivia: Believing it was the goddess Iris who helped guide women’s souls to heaven, the ancient Greeks planted iris flowers on the graves of their loved ones.
