Beautiful photo of New York in December! Love the lights in parallel, as well as the vertical lines of the fence. Well done 🙂

You truly captured one of the beautiful canvases of our city during this holiday season .

    So very NYC!

It feels like you stepped back in time, the lamp post glowing and the clock tower in the distance. I like it!

Quaint lamppost, modern office building, old skyscraper, shiny multi colored lights all blended in a hodgepodge of a lovely holiday in NYC – would be a great holiday card!

Homesick for the city, if not for the weather. Great shot.

  7. ellen says:

Aww, sorry to make you homesick Karen. The city is beautiful this time of year. But trust me, you could do without the crowds, the noise, and the rainy cold weather. Happy you like the photo. Enjoy your celebrations.

There’s nothing like NYC for the holidays! Thanks for capturing it!

Just got back from CA, so I’m commenting late. I can’t believe that it’s Holmdel, and not NYC. But it’s a fabulous photo of lights – Christmas or Hanukkah – we all celebrate with lights. As usual, a beautiful study in darks and lights (literally). Merry and Happy to all.

Welcome home Bernice. The Chanukah photo was Holmdel NJ. This one is Gramercy Park in good ol’ NYC! Happy holidays.

Thank you Jacqueline for your support of my work. Definitely more to come in the new year! Happy holidays.

It’s just beautiful!!!!! It gives you a special feeling, from your head to your toes, of holiday time in NY.

What wonderful balance in this photo. I love how the lights and shape of the Christmas tree echo the lights and shape of the steeple. The composition is beautiful and classic. Thanks for a touch of the holidays.
