What a classic photo, Ellen! The black and white, coupled with the tall ships and limited tall buildings takes us back to the 1920s, when tall ships still docked in NY harbor. Well done recreating history!
Wow, I love this photo! Feels like the past meeting the present with the masts of the ships and the modern buildings behind. Perfect with the horizontal lines of the bridge mirroring the horizontal lines of the masts. Well done!
Clever vintage feel of b/w. I’m sure seeing all those tall ships was an amazing experience, harkening back to Old New York!
You captured the ol’ time era
When long trips required…….ships!

Love how the black and white photo and the tall ships exude a relatively timeless feel. You certainly have a wonderful way of creating vibe.
What year was this taken in? Wow the historical feel here is incredible.
Bridge, buildings, masts all reaching for the sky and echoing each other. Great composition
