What a perfect pairing, Ellen! It feels like we are experiencing the day first through your photo of the person (and what a great hat!) and then through that person’s eyes, gazing out at the ocean and sailboat. The hat photo is especially artistic, as we never see the person, only a hat and a towel. Well done!
I can’t believe that there is a more calming view then watching boats sail by on glistening, relatively calm water. The baby blue of the cloudless sky against the various blues of the water makes for a beautiful seascape. The wide brim hat center in the first photo is an indication that more than likely the person is a woman enjoying the spectacular view. Both photographs are wonderful compositions.
Now this is where it’s at!!!
And all you needed was a hat!!!
Great shots! They perfectly capture the mood of a sunny day at the beach.
Love these, especially paired together! Sparkles, waves, hat, AND a sailboat! All the best elements. Thanks for sharing this summery moment with us.

Ahh, the prelude to summer, with sparkling crystal waters. So inviting.
Love this time of year for Ellen photos!
Love the hat and I can almost smell the sparkling sea.
